We used Martin for a major renovation of our basement, as well as a few associated projects.  Martin provided value in three key ways. First, he capably undertook tasks with a minimum of direction, easily interpreting requests and translating them into completed projects–for instance, when we suddenly said we wanted to replace our windows, and wanted the new windows to be reasonably priced and composite, he delivered a finished product that was exactly as requested, while requiring very little input from us. At the same time, Martin proved valuable in holding us back, preventing impractical or unnecessary work. Finally, Martin brought our projects a group of great individual finish craftsmen, whose only flaw was to make our basement finishes outshine others’ work elsewhere in our house.  You will have to compete with us for Martin’s time, as we intend to continue to use him for future work.

We worked with Martin on the complete gut renovation of our 1908 home in Edgewater.  Overall we were extremely pleased with the process and results of the project. Martin was great to work with, very thorough and professional, and helpful working through issues that came up during the build.
